Sing Tower Hamlets

Leanne is the founder and musical director of Sing Tower Hamlets, a community choir open to all based in East London. Started in 2013, the choir brings together people from across the community to make a joyful noise in the heart of the East End! As well as putting on their own concerts regularly (raising more than £40K for local charities since it started), Sing Tower Hamlets has performed at the Southbank Centre’s Chorus Festival, the UK Choir Festival, and Voices of London Festival.

East London NHS Foundation Trust

Leanne has led singing projects within the East London NHS Foundation Trust since the beginning of 2019, primarily through the #ELFTin1Voice choir which brings together staff and service users for rehearsals and performances. As well as performing at ELFT’s staff awards ceremony at the Barbican two years in a row, in 2020 the choir opened TEDxNHS at IndigO2 with a performance of a specially commissioned piece written by Leanne in collaboration with doctor and freestyle rapper Mandeep Singh. Leanne also leads singing across the trust at team away days and other gatherings.
